What is World Sustainability Day?
World Sustainability Day is a reminder of how far we have come – and how much power we each have to shape a better future.
It all began back in 1969, when the US introduced the National Environment Policy Act – the first big step toward recognizing the importance of protecting our planet. Fast forward to today and its become a global moment to pause, reflect and remember that our everyday choices really do make a difference.
From swapping to reusable products to composting your leftovers, the small acts we do diaily can add up to something incredible.
Why it matters
At Microgarden, we believe living sustainably shouldn’t be hard or boring. It’s the little swaps
That make the biggest difference – bringing your own coffee cup, saying no to single -use plastics, composting your food scraps, or storing leftovers in glass instead of cling wrap.
